Fold the paper from left to right or right to left.

If the base box and the lid are of the same depth then it is quite difficult to open and close the box. It can be any kind of paper though origami paper is best. Next take the bottom left diagonal edge and fold it to align with the central crease.
Again take the top left diagonal edge and fold to to align with the central crease. Fold the paper again but this time from top to bottom or bottom to top. Get out a square piece of paper.
Crease the fold then.
