Origami Graduation Hat
Turn the dollar bill over so it is black side up.

This will be the top of the cap. Place the dollar bill so it is green side up if you want the green side to be visible at the top of the cap. The top flat part is now completely flat whereas before it was curved rounded.
This is a modification of my previous origami round twisted box. Using the strand you just cut tie it about 1 2 below the top of the tassel to make a loop. This origami mortarboard is made from 1 sheet of square paper you can also make a little paper tassel to go on top.
